082223 : 2017

So, tonight I pulled a concrete pour out of its form and flipped it so it could dry faster. It had been in there for about 4 days and was ready to sustain the stress I might put on it as I ripped it off the insulation it was poured into. It is going to be the base of my pizza oven. It was going to be a different part of the build but i had to shift some things around when I realized a fairly significant design flaw. In this situation I was not fully satisfied with the surface anyways so I accepted the need to pour another one. I need to get that done tomorrow because my deadline for pizza oven build is September 16th and I’m supposed to have 28 days for it to dry.

There was also a ton of time over thinking being an artist and what I’m trying to do with this site. Which, another artistic progress today was the site has now officially been moved over to square space. That means as soon as I can, I should take all the info from the old site and move whatever is still applicable to this site. That site and hosting had gotten so bogged down that it didn’t reflect this time of art and expressionism. In many ways I am still trying to do exactly the same thing though. I try to do it a lot of different ways. And I never want to say it out loud. So, I think about it a lot. It makes me a little mad sometimes. :)
