The canvas is a place of healing and exploration. Freedom and unlimited potential. It can catch the puke of the soul as well as the scenery it happened in. paint
I make art for many reasons. But one on the sustaining reasons is the potential to communicate the gospel. I love the idea that I could say 1000 words on the subject and have it communicated nearly instantly.
I have meditated on, relied on, sought out, ignored, and conformed to the scriptures constantly through out my life. That journey has been expressed in many of my paintings and writings.

Also games, I’ve been making games since I was young. At one time I boasted that I was the proud owner of TWO 18 hole bocce golf courses. Bocce is a great summer game but my real jewel is Road Trip. The board game to end all board games.

Bocce Golf Tournament

Bocce is taken to another level with the addition of a course to play on. The rules stay mostly the same but challenges and obstacles make the game even more fun. Everyone gets an oppertunity to play before 2pm. But after that, the best 16 players will compete for the 2023 golden bocce. The winners of the previous two years plan to be back and the founder of the game (me) has yet to win one. So the competion will be fierce in this fun ,easy-ish, lighthearted game.

I’m a hot and cold Christian artist that has now spent almost 30 years making and using art or craft for a variety of reasons. It’s been therapy, it’s been functional. I prefer to make things that have function like artisan breads and tables. But, the possibility of painting awesome works of timeless art drives me.
Along side this need to create art is the thought that there is a story to tell. Jesus Christ is worthy of the praise for keeping me through the years. His gift of using art to release and express the passionate energy within me has kept me from lots of troubles and given me great joy and hope. Jesus Christ is the King. I’m bordering crazy sometimes. But, it could be a lot worse. Hallelujah!!
I feel like this rendition of my art and site is pretty good. I’m gonna try hard to add content to it near daily for a while. We’ll see how long I can keep it up. I would appreciate your support. I have dreams of building my own studio but I can’t justify it if I don’t sell a lot of art! But, whether the art sells or not, I will continue to create because that’s what I do.
